Of Dolphins and Love

I considered all my trips memorable. Each trip has left a memory that I can share with other people. I keep on going back to Palawan because of its different effects on me. But if there is one more place that I want to go back to, it would be Bohol. Not because of Chocolate Hills. It is not also the tarsier or the man-made forest. It’s all about the dolphins.

Foods to Welcome 2011

I am always in charge of the kitchen whenever we have special occasions at home like birthdays, a simple Thanksgiving feast, or a Christmas Eve’s feast. Not that we don’t celebrate Christmas, we just prepare more to welcome the new year so we give more consideration to the New Year’s eve feast and make it more special or most special of all the family’s feast every year. We, eerrr, I take food preparation and cooking seriously. No harm in believing that it will affect the next 365 days of  our lives. Yes, we had fruits and more.

Over the years, I grew tired of cooking spaghetti in red sauce, having fried chicken, ham and bread. When I felt I needed a change, I switched to baked macaroni, spaghetti in white sauce, seafood pesto among others.

Happy New Year, everyone!

I like the date today, January 1, 2011. If simply written in numbers, it’s 1-1-11! All one. All straight lines!

So as we start with the new year, let us all hope to live a straight life. No curves on our road ahead.  Let us put God first in everything we think, plan, and do!

I am not much into making New Year’s resolutions. But I promise to continue good things that I have been doing not only for myself but also for others – family and friends. And I will take a closer look at others things which I think I need to improve on.

So cheers for another year given to us to be a better person to fulfill our dreams and mission in life.

 

What I Want for Christmas

I made a list of gifts that I want to get for Christmas for myself. No, I am not asking anyone to give them to me. These are a little pricey and I think it would be too much to burden any of you. Well, I won’t argue if you insist.

I am telling myself that I deserve these gifts and I should get them for myself. I have been behaving properly like a good girl. hahaha.
